Who We Are
A family-run, women-owned operator based in Glencoe, Alabama. Erica McMichael is Chief Executive Officer and Chad McMichael is Vice President. The same leadership runs our sister companies, Southeastern Utility Services for substation construction and right-of-way work, and Global Disaster Logistics for disaster base camps.

We needed a dumpster quickly for a project in Gadsden and reached out to McMichael Waste Services. They handled everything efficiently and professionally.
The 10 yard roll-off dumpster was delivered promptly and positioned exactly where we requested, which made loading much easier. The driver was courteous and clearly experienced with tight placement areas.

I called Tyler around 11:15 asking for a portable toilet, as the one originally scheduled to be delivered never showed. He stated he didn’t think he could get to me that day, but for sure the next. About 4:15 the SAME DAY, they showed up!! Not to mention, I was in Homewood. They drove over an hour to make sure I was taken care. I was completely shocked and so grateful!! You guys are the best. Do you offer same-day dumpster delivery in Alabama?
Often, subject to availability. Same-day or next-day service is common across the Birmingham, Huntsville and Gadsden metros.
What size dumpster do I need?
10 yard for roofing, small renovations and heavy material like concrete. 20 yard for mid-size construction and remodels. 30 yard for large renovations, commercial build-outs and demolition. 40 yard for major commercial construction. Tell us the debris type and we will size it.
How long can I keep a dumpster rental?
Rental periods depend on the project and location. Extended terms are available for long-term construction, infrastructure and municipal work, and dispatch can coordinate extensions or scheduled pickups if the timeline moves.
Do I need a permit for a roll-off dumpster?
Not if it sits entirely on private property. If any part of it rests on a street, sidewalk or right-of-way, you will need a municipal permit. Requirements differ by city, so check with the local office or ask us and we will tell you what applies.
What materials are prohibited in a dumpster?
Hazardous materials are not permitted. That includes chemicals and flammable liquids, asbestos-containing materials, batteries, tires, paints and solvents, and certain electronics and appliances. If you are unsure, call before the container is loaded.
How many portable toilets do I need?
A general rule is one unit per 50 to 75 guests for a four-hour event. Up to 100 guests, 2 units. 100 to 200, 3 to 4 units. 200 to 300, 4 to 6 units. 300 to 500, 7 to 10 units. Add capacity if the event runs longer than four hours, alcohol is served, or usage peaks.
What size restroom trailer do I need?
Plan for roughly one toilet per 75 to 100 people at a four to six hour event. Up to 150 people, 2-stall. 150 to 300, 4-stall. 300 to 450, 6-stall. 450 to 600, 8-stall. 600 to 800, 10-stall. Adjust up for longer events, alcohol service or concentrated peak usage.
